Blues frontman and guitarist Gary Clark Jr. sat down for a short bit with musical blog Noisey. He touches on musical freedom, his strong blues background, and putting your heart and soul into whatever you are doing. For the short length of the video, it's really quite inspiring. Thrice have graced fans with plans for their final album. The band got together earlier this year and put together "Anthology" which drummer Riley Breckenridge says, is a true representation of their live performance.

Rock band Anberlin has released "Someone Anyone" on their website to build some buzz for their upcoming album, "Vital", due out in October. I enjoyed their albums "Cities" and "New Surrender" but I haven't heard much from them other than that. Their subtle electronic effects are really what drew me in as well as Stephen Christian's unique voice. It will be interesting to hear what they have to offer in a few months!

Gotye's video for "Somebody That I Used To Know" made waves on the internet for it's interesting style, and his latest visual for "Save Me" is just as unique. It's entirely animated and doesn't feature Gotye at all, but instead a cardboard robot that is slowly piecing itself together. Are those bacon strips?
