Kid Cudi released visuals for his latest single, "Just What I Am", featuring fellow Cleveland rapper King Chip. Directed by Scott Mescudi himself, the psychedelic video shows a live-action painting of Cudi and King Chip partying, driving, and basically just having a good time with friends. Check the video after the jump!

If you've been following Kid Cudi, you know his upcoming project "Indicud" is said to be mostly self-produced with a few select producers in the mix. He dropped "King Wizard" earlier today, which he produced himself and features some interesting vocal effects. Do you think his mentor Kanye West has shown him a thing or two? Have a listen and let us know what you think in the comments below!

It's hard to place Kid Cudi into one genre, especially when he goes back and forth on if he's a rapper/singer/ or both. This time around, it seems he's warmed up to the rap game again, and brought in long time friend and collaborator King Chip aka Chip Tha Ripper. In an interview last month with Complex the cudder said:
"I've been writing some really serious raps. I've been writing some shit that's going to fuck people up."
The new track, produced entirely by Cudi is off his upcoming G.O.O.D music release, entitled "indicud" which...Read More

It's hard to place WZRD in any particular genre, which I believe was the goal Kid Cudi and Dot Da Genius were trying to accomplish with their new project. Pronounced how it's spelt-out, but meaning "wizard", WZRD fuses rock and electronica to create a psychedelic soundscape featuring Kid Cudi's singing vocals (Sorry rap fans, no bars are spit on the WZRD project, nor is there any swearing). The entirety of the album is produced by Day 'N' Night producer Dot Da Genius with Cudi on guitar, however Empire Of The Sun leant their talent on The Dream Time Machine and Desi...Read More

WZRD, the rock project by KiD CuDi & Dot Da Genius, performed two songs from their upcoming debut album, Teleport 2 Me, Jamie and Brake at The Heatwave Festival in Melbourne. Cudi even grabbed his guitar to perform Brake for the first time in front of an audience.
Although fans were blessed with hearing Cudi's new project, many were upset after his set was cut short before he had a chance to perform his biggest hits, Day N' Night, Pursuit of Happiness and Memories. Kid Cudi has since placed the blame on the festival's organizers...Read More

It looks like Kid Cudi and Dot Da Genius fans are going to have to be patient just a little longer. Their collaborative effort, entitled Wzrd's debut album has been pushed back another month, due to mastering issues. Dot Da Genius took to Twitter to explain the situation.
"Hey Guys, WZRD Update. Me and Cudi have been working on our debut album and it’s almost near completion. We are in the final stages of mastering but we really had to take time and pay attention to the sonics as this is new territory for us. With that being said, we have decided to change the r...Read More
