The hardworking St. Louis lyricist Bo Dean (@bovember24th) decided to keep the #MashUp theme going by releasing a BOnus Eminem MashUp. Coming in at just under 9 minutes, #EmMashUp samples some of Eminem's most popular instrumentals to create a dynamic backdrop that allows Bo to effortlessly show off his lyrical flow. And show it off he does. Not to mention Bo's wordplay is ridiculous as usual; "life's a bitch and I'm abusing her/ I gotta strong grip on her neck, I ain't Satan so, I ain't lettin loose of her (lucifer)". A few weeks ago I had a chance to sit down with St. Louis hip-hop artist, Bo Dean (@bovember24th), and ask some questions about his new project, the #MashUp. Those who have followed the FLUX9-produced series, BOcumentary: Road To The MashUp, have already gotten a taste of the new tape, as well as the concept behind it. Bo isn't just hopping on different artists' beats like others have done in the past. Instead, he kicks it up a notch by mashing together several beats from one particular artist into one single song, changing up his flow as the beat changes. See what Bo has to say...

Bo Dean (@bovember24th) just released a video to send a message to all the haters out there. The song #PickUpYoFace features fellow Step Or Get Left rappers Louie Boy and TyLan. The video starts off showing a hater (played by our very own @skov) on YouTube writing a senseless comment when he's only heard two seconds of the song. Bo Dean hits the studio with Louie Boy and Jay Dee to record "Drumz 3" which will be featured on the #MashUp. He helps Hystory tear up the stage in Columbia, Missouri, then comes back home to St. Louis to open for Twista with his Step Or Get Left teammates and participate in a Cypher. The FLUX9FILMS crew is back at it again! We teamed up with St. Louis artist Bo Dean (@Bovember24th) to create visuals for the first single from his highly-anticipated mixtape, the #MASHUP. Building off Bo's concept of mashing beats together, we mashed a lyric video and music video together while using vibrant colors to exaggerate the colorful beats and their switch-ups. Bo Dean (@bovember24th) released his first single #AraabMuzikMashup from his highly-anticipated mixtape the #Mashup. If you've watched any of Bo's #BOcumentary episodes, you know that his next project's concept is to take multiple beats from either one artist or one producer and mash them together into sections. He then spits knowledge over the changing beats while switching up his flow to match.

His first single features production by AraabMuzik and is bound to turn some heads. Listen for yourself after the jump!

Bo Dean (@bovember24th) continues his promotion of his next mixtape, #Mashup, by dropping a fresh episode of his BOcumentary: Road To The Mashup video series. This time we see Bo head to Chicago, perform at 2720 Cherokee for Hystory's #PapersNPipes release party, and tear up the stage at SlumFest 2012. Bo also gives us a glimpse of the first music video dropping from the Mashup.

I am always very iffy when I see any post about a "mash-up", because quite frankly it's a very easy way to ruin a classic song. However, in this case, Capital Cities do it flawlessly. The song begins with a beautiful instrumental intro, which features elements of the original "Breathe" off Pink Floyd's 1972 classic "Dark Side Of The Moon".
