HOLY SHIT!! what a great way to wake up. #Parhelia sent me a extremely limited edition cassett AND cd of "Shifting Sands", their sold out EP "First Light", and a limited edition cd "Oceans Apart", and a poster for doing that interview of them. "Parhelia" Interview

Parhelia is a 4-piece instrumental post-rock band from Dublin, Ireland. I have recently had the privelege of speaking with them via email. Their music is a huge inspiration to me and never fails to speak volumes to the soul. They were kind enough to let me ask them a few questions for a little more information about Parhelia's story and any news on the band. The bad new is....... instrumental post rock group #Parhelia opted to not sign up for flux9 for one reason or another...... BUT, the good news is........ they were cool with me doing an interview for their band. So although we cant do a feature, keep a lookout for their interview responses in my next review. #Parhelia is an amazing band and a huge influence for me right now and it would have been awesome to see them sign up but hey.... u win some, u lose some. THE EVEN BETTER NEWS (especially for @JKI and @skov). i told them about @aeronaut in a previous email and today they asked for a link to the @aeronaut page on flux9 to check u guys out!! i sent it today along with my interview questions and a link to the artist review i did for them on here as well. "Parhelia" Artist Review

Parhelia are a 4-piece from Dublin, Ireland, who play refined #Instrumental #PostRock. They released their debut Ep “First Light” in 2006 and followed it up with “Oceans Apart” in 2007.They released their Debut Album "Shifting Sands" in 2009. It is rumored that Parhelia is planning to release a new album in 2012.
