The Black Keys opt to keep new album "El Camino" off Streaming services.

The Black Keys opt to keep new album El Camino off Streaming services. Rockers the Black Keys have chosen not to release their new album "El Camino" on popular music streaming services such as Rdio, Spotify, Moog, and Pandora. The group said while they're not opposed to it eventually, that it hurts initial sales.

This seems to be quite the backwards approach, as these streaming services definitely bring about new fans.

I've noticed a lot of artists doing this lately. I still say give away the music for free and capitalize off of doing shows, merch, and other endorsements. That's the future. December 8, 2011
