my name is of the sun. i have gone by of the sun since 2009, and was first inspired to use the name after reading an article on “metaphor of the sun” which basically says that the sun is illumination, but not in the common sense of the word. illumination refers to intellectual illumination, the nature of ultimate reality, and how knowledge is acquired concerning it.

transmission e.p.i chose this name because it was right around the time i really got into instrumental music, and how words can not always be the only way to convey a message. throughout my e.p. i rely heavily on the use of samples to convey the general idea i got from the song, and the idea i hope the listener feels as well....
