Jabari had a chance to interview and document the lives of Macklemore & Ryan Lewis earlier this year while they were recording the video for their hit song "Thrift Shop". Jabari gets Macklemore to open up about the ups and downs of being independent and why he doesn't see himself going to a major label. Ryan Lewis, who handles the music production, talks about how he linked up with Macklemore by doing his photography. Check out the short documentary after the jump!

Jay and Ye released the documentary showcasing the making of their collaboration album, Watch the Throne. The short 11 minute piece takes you on a journey around the globe as the duo record, produce and show off tracks to close friends. There's even a special cameo by Russell Crowe as Ye plays "Illest Motherfucker Alive" which mentions Russell's name. The documentary was directed by Robert Lopuski, who also directed Kanye's "POWER" music video.
