Adele's '21' The Number One British Album Of This Century

And the inevitable has happened: Adele's mega-selling sophomore album, 21, has just become the number one album of this century, selling 3.4 million copies since its release in February. That's enough to topple Amy Winehouse's Back to Black, which has sold 3.3 million copies since 2006. 

Now, those numbers aren't exactly huge, but when you consider Adele's U.S. sales--over 4 million--that 3.4 million in Britain is more impressive, since there are considerably fewer people there. I guess the question is now if 21 can hold on for another 89 years....Read More
