Skrillex teams up with Zen Arts
February 9, 2012 by Kelsey // #skrillex #dubstep #electronic #zenarts #zorayajudd #poledance #xpole #concert On January 29, 2012, at the Nokia Theatre in LA, Skrillex took the stage following opening acts Nadastrom, Benga, & Dada Life. The stage, conveniently located in the center of the venue, slowly rotated so that the crowd could get a good view from every angle. The audience was not only entertained by grammy nominated artist Skrillex, but also by Zen Arts Dancers including pole entertainer, Zoraya Judd.
Zen Arts is a traveling group of highly trained cirque performers, dancers, artists, and designers. Along with Zoraya Judd, four other girls brought sexy to the stage in leather and lace. I love when an artist creates a visual experience for their music at concerts. Aerial arts are increasing in popularity and I love the fact that Skrillex teamed up with Zen Arts to put on an amazing show. Zoraya Judd is an excellent pole performer, and she is changing people's minds about pole dancing all over the globe. She is sponsored by X-pole, who provided the pole for the stage, and they manufacture safe, portable and affordable poles for beginners and experts. The pole movement is spreading. Get in the know!
I found a video on youtube showing the atmosphere of the concert and it looks like it was banging! If you want to check it out follow the link below. Skrillex is growing on me and so is dubstep. Especially, dubstep done well. The fact that Skrillex is nominated for 5 grammy's is outstanding! My favorite remix by him so far is "Cinema" by Benny Benassi.
