Magnolia Pictures Secures U.S. Rights To Bob Marley Documentary, Due In April Magnolia Pictures has secured the U.S. rights to Marley. Marley, the documentary about legendary reggae artist Bob Marley isn't the first film made about the late singer, but it's the first with full support from the Marley family. The film is due out 4/20, and will make it's debut at the Berlin Film Festival, with it's state side premiere at South By SouthWest.

The film is stitched together from rare behind the scenes footage, archival photos, and family interviews. Bob's son and co-executive producer, Ziggy had this to say regarding the film.

"The family is proud to be able to have the world finally experience this emotional journey.".

As a life long Bob Marley fan, I can definitely say I am excited to take this journey, and to see the man behind the legend.
