Hystory is originally from Chicago, which has had a big influence on his music. He began writing rhymes at the tender age of 8 after a friendís father motivated him with three bucks a verse! What kid wouldnít want to write down some rhymes to make his pockets fatter?! But all jokes aside, it wasnít the $3 that really drove Hystory into becoming the artist that he is today. As a teenager Hystory moved to St.Louis with his mother."Chicago is the city of mobsters and pimps so the city oozes game. U pick up on it become a slick talker and picking out the real from the fake comes natural.St.Louis is smaller and a little slower so adapting was easy. I became a man here this my 2nd home i embody both" that was his response when asked how living both places has influenced his music the passion and life circumstances that kept him going. If you listen closely to his songs, you can hear the emotion and the pain in his voice from some of the experiences heís had on his come up. When asked about his accomplishments and what heís most proud of, he simply had this to say:
"I'm very happy with what Iíve done so far, but I cannot yet say that I am proud of myself. Not to sound ungrateful, but I am afraid to feel satisfied because it can lead to laziness and complacency. Because of this, I tend to focus on how I can improve or how I could have performed better. This keeps my game sharp and my mind focused."
This attitude has helped to keep his music efforts progressive and has opened doors to several big opportunities recently. He released a mixtape titled "Papers N' Pipes" which dropped on 4/20/12 kickin off the Step Or Get Left movement. Now Hystory is set to deliver what he promised would be nothing short of a classic "Dysfunctional Family" with SOGL (Step Or Get Left) mate @Lz. He's lyrical, his delivery is keen, his adaptive sound can catch nearly anyoneís attention, and his hunger for success is something to be respected.

My Inspiration is Just life in general, most of my music talks about life situations. Iím inspired by things that I have ... more experienced, saw and heard others go through. I try to be universal with my music, canít really place me in one style of rap. Also Iím inspired by other great artist, nothing like good competitionÖsad to say, itís not much of that
